We want your experience with THEFLYSHADES to be seamless and fully compliant with your consumer rights. Please review our policy below.


Your Right to Return (EU Consumers)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason, without providing justification (EU Consumer Rights Directive).

For all other customers, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery, subject to qualifying requirements.


Return Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and unworn, with all original tags attached

  • In original packaging and condition as received

  • Accompanied by receipt or proof of purchase

Non-returnable items:

  • Items purchased using promotional offers or discount codes

  • Sale items and gift cards


How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact us first at info@theflyshades.com before sending any items.

  2. Await confirmation – you will receive an email with shipping instructions and guidelines.

  3. Ship your return to the address provided in your confirmation email:

Important: Unsolicited returns (items sent without prior authorization) will not be accepted.


Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.


Refund Processing Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • You will be notified within 2–3 business days whether your return is approved.

  • If approved: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • EU customers: Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your return (as required by EU law).

Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at info@theflyshades.com.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us right away at info@theflyshades.com.
Return shipping costs will be covered by THEFLYSHADES in these cases.


Exchanges

We may offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item:

  1. Return your original item following the process above.

  2. Once your return is approved, place a new order for the desired item.
